 Brian Walley
Brian has been freelancing in Calgary since high school.
He graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.Sc.
degree in 1981. While at U of C, he performed with Dr.
Ward Cole's Saturday Morning Jazz Lab Band. Brian has
had the pleasure of private study with Bob Stroup, Ian
McDougall, Bill Watrous, Alistair Kay, Bobby Shew, and
Bob McChesney.
He has played with the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Band,
Ice Capades, productions of South Pacific, A Chorus
Line, and Tom Foolery. He was a charter member of Eric
Friedenberg's Saturday Pro Band. He has appeared with
Harry Connick Jr., Red Skelton, Hal Linden, Diana Krall,
Dizzy Gillespie, Joan Rivers, Lou Rawls, Holly Cole,
Rosemary Clooney, P.J. Perry, Cheryl Fischer, Pepper
,4dams, Mart Kenney and k.d.Lang. He currently performs
wi.th all manner of groups playing everything from
weddings to the Bizarre Ball!io goes here.... |
