Keith Smith
Keith Smith (Guitar) has been playing over the last
40 years, in Toronto, Halifax and now Calgary. Most of
that time, he has been involved in small jazz ensembles
though his interests include classical and folk music.
Since his arrival in Calgary, he has appeared with the
likes of Hugh Frazer, P.J. Perry, Charlie Austin, Amos
Garrett, Bob Day, Cheryl Fisher, and toured Scotland
with the celtic worldbeat band, Clanterra. He also runs
a project recording studio, which has produced music,
soundscapes and relaxation CD’s for various clients. He
also creates and sells acoustic guitar samplesets for
use in electronic music creation at his website

Most recently, he has returned from a week-long stint in
Mongolia with the Northern Lights Quartet and Deb
Rasmussen, where performances included the Ulaanbaatar
Opera House, several night clubs in Ulaanbaatar and the
Mongolian National Video Awards show on UBS television. |
